Contemporary old-time Photographers: this Tuesday we’ve selected three photographers who could have worked in the 1800s. The shots taken by Simone Frascarelli, Borut Peterlin and Delio Jasse are a mix of experimentation and technique, where interpretation moves between sectors such as fine art, portraits and reportage.
A series of images manually modified using a process kept alive by those who still haven’t decided to go digital, and who are giving free rein to creativity. Portraits, collages, negatives, cyanotypes and self-built optical benches are key to the work of these photographers, who, notwithstanding technological advances, continue to revere the origins of analogical photography.
Same as every week, our editors have picked three different artists from Instagram: discover the list on ZìrArtmag, stay up to date on new art trends and find out more about artists from around the world as well as much more!
